What is Tillpress?
Tillpress is an independent publisher of self-hosted WooCommerce plugins, operated by Alex Software Holdings LLC. It makes three: OrderRing sends order-ready SMS, voice and WhatsApp messages through the shop’s own Twilio account; StoreCanvas is a product designer that lets customers personalise items on your store; OrderBay handles PDF invoices, packing slips and a fulfilment desk. Every plugin runs on your own WordPress site and connects to services you already pay for, so Tillpress takes no commission and adds no per-message markup. OrderRing Lite and basic OrderBay invoices are free. Pro licences are yearly: OrderRing $69, StoreCanvas $79, OrderBay $79, or all three in the Suite for $149. Checkout Sentinel, a checkout monitor, is in development with a waitlist.

Is Tillpress a subscription platform?
No. The plugin runs on your own WordPress site, not ours. You buy a yearly licence for Pro features, updates and support. Choose to pay once for one year, or to auto-renew each year at the same price (cancel any time from your receipt email). The one-month OrderRing licence never renews.
What happens if I do not renew?
Pro features pause after the license and grace window. Your data and settings stay intact on your server:
- OrderRing Lite pickup SMS keeps running. No key.
- OrderBay basic invoices keep running. No key.
- Pro features pause after the license and grace window: OrderRing sending (SMS, voice, WhatsApp, chat, auto-notify), StoreCanvas live mockup and print export, OrderBay packing slips, branded PDFs, bulk actions, and the fulfilment desk. Settings are preserved. Renewing resumes them.
Are Twilio or other provider fees included?
No. When a plugin connects to an external provider, you pay that provider directly. Tillpress does not add a per-message or per-transaction markup.
Does self-hosted mean zero setup?
No. You are responsible for your WordPress hosting and any required provider configuration, such as Twilio credentials and carrier registration. The documentation walks through the supported setup.
Which Tillpress plugins can I buy today?
OrderRing: free Lite, or Pro for $69 a year ($9 for a single month). StoreCanvas and OrderBay Pro are $79 a year each; sales reopened on 2 October 2026. The Suite bundles all three for $149 a year. Checkout Sentinel has a waitlist. See pricing.
What is OrderRing?
A WooCommerce plugin that texts customers when their order is ready for pickup, using your own Twilio account. Lite is free. Pro adds two-way chat in WooCommerce, voice calls, WhatsApp, pickup reminders and quiet hours. Setup guide: WooCommerce order-ready SMS.
Do my customers have to agree to texts?
Yes. OrderRing adds a consent checkbox at checkout, and handles STOP, HELP and START replies automatically. See SMS consent and STOP handling.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe. Your licence key and download link arrive by email straight after payment, and the receipt shows them again.
Can I request a refund?
Yes. Pro and Agency licenses include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Third-party usage or registration fees are not refundable by Tillpress.
