Getting started with Tillpress plugins
Pick the plugin that matches what the shop already feels they are losing. Then install, connect the service they already pay for, and send one real test before going live.

Lite solves the felt need this week. Pro is the thing you know they need once they hit the ceiling. Do not install OrderBay Lite or StoreCanvas Lite from tillpress.com until those plugins have a live wordpress.org listing.
What are the requirements?
- WordPress 6.2+ and WooCommerce 7.0+
- PHP 7.4+
- HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) is supported
- OrderRing: your own Twilio account (Account SID, Auth Token, From number). Tillpress does not sell SMS.
- StoreCanvas print PDF flattening uses GD when present. RGB output, not CMYK/PDF-X.
How do I install a Tillpress plugin?
- Download the zip: OrderRing Lite from wordpress.org or tillpress.com/lite. Paid plugins arrive in the purchase email and on My account → Downloads.
- In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the zip → Activate. WooCommerce must already be active.
- Open the plugin’s admin menu (OrderRing Lite, OrderRing, StoreCanvas, or OrderBay).
If you install OrderRing Pro while Lite is active, Lite idles so pickup SMS is not sent twice. You can deactivate Lite.
How does the 30-day Pro window work?
OrderRing 1.25, StoreCanvas 1.10.x, and OrderBay 1.12.x ship fail-closed: the Pro code allows a 30-day unlicensed runtime window on each site, then needs an active license key. The public Pro zip currently requires paid checkout; this is not a separate free trial download. Lite SMS and basic OrderBay invoices stay free with no key.
On the zips currently sold, the unlicensed-window clock starts on the first normal WordPress request after activation. If StoreCanvas shows a product with “Enable live mockup” on but no canvas on the storefront, confirm that the trial or key is active, then set a featured image or view mockup — a canvas with no base image looks empty.
License checks talk to the license host. They do not send orders or customers. OrderRing Lite never phones home.
Do I need A2P 10DLC registration to text US customers?
If you text US mobiles, carriers require A2P 10DLC (brand + campaign) or a verified toll-free number. Register that in the Twilio Console. OrderRing does not file 10DLC and does not resell messaging. Unregistered US traffic is blocked by carriers — that is not an OrderRing bug.
